My daughter Just started crawling at 8mo. I was also worried, but I think each kid is different.

All babies sit/roll/crawl/bum shuffle/walk when they're ready - its no big deal - by age three your kid will be running jumping and climbing with the best of them and no one will be interested (or able to even guess) in when he first crawled or walked!!

My friend's baby didn't crawl at all! She by-passed crawling and went right to walking.

My son is not crawling either, at almost 8 months. Some babies never crawl though,so I wouldnt worry. If your baby is otherwise healthy and happy and developing within normality when it comes to holding its own head etc. you have absolutely nothing to worry about :)

My daugter is 6 mos old and shes not crawling yet either. Most start between 4-7 mos but some babies skip it and just start walking. Everyone is different.

Dont worry too much about crawling. My daughter never did she just went straight to walking. My son had the weirdest crawl and he only did that for about a month before he decided to start walking at 9 months. Every baby is different and your will crawl and walk when they are ready.

My son was 6 weeks early and didn't start crawling until 10 months. Every child is different. My other son started crawling around 8 months. Some babies never crawl and do right to walking. Don't worry too much. Ask your doctor if you have concerns. They can reassure you. They see hundreds of babies. I know if it is your first you worry about when they should be doing things. With my second I was thankful he started crawling late, now he is into everything:)

how old is he? every child is different. my little boy didn't crawl until he was 1.
