My daughter is teething and I need to make some homemade things to help her through it. Any ideas?

She is teething really really bad and I hate giving her tylonal all the time what are some homemade feel better techniques I can use? Even homemade meds would be nice. Something all natural.

Hyland's teething tablets work wonders! They are homeopathic and I cannot believe how great they work! You can find them and other Hyland's products at Walgreens.

I bought the mesh feeders... they're wonderful! Frozen bananas were my daughter's favorite. I also always put ice cubes in it... the least messy thing :) Also, the freezie pops in the plastic sleeves... I let her chew on those, without opening them, cuz you can refreeze them over & over... The washcloth ideas are great too.. Good luck to you :) My daughter just turned a year old yesterday...and has 8 teeth so far...

I bought those mesh feeders and put frozen fruit (watermelon was their favorite) or ice chips. Basically anythign cold to help numb their gums helps. I know you asked about natural remedies but I used motrin instead of tylenol because i found that I only needed to give it once before bedtime. We also tried Humphrey's all natural Teething relief. I thought it helped and some of my friends swear by it. Check with your pediatrician before using the motrin or humphreys. Motrin has age/weight minimums and even if something is all natural i check with my pediatrician in case there are some things it reacts badly with.

My daughter is teething right now too. We put wet washcloths in the freezer for a few minutes and then give them to her. She gums them and the cold slushy like ice really numbs her gums. Also try a frozen carrot. It's something your baby can easily hold onto and because carrots tend to be harder to bite, you don't have to worry about her biting off a piece and choking.

Try freezing a water bottle, and letting her chew on that.

try taking a baby wash rag roll it up real tight then soak it in water and throw it in the freezer for about 10 minutes, then let your daughter bite on that, it's so easy and it worked for my son
