My son is 7months old and has no interest in crawling

My son is 7 months (as of today!) and he still isn't crawling either. Sometimes I think he gets really frustrated because he wants to so badly but just can't figure it out. He's still working on sitting up unsupported, too. He can do it for a little while, but once he gets really excited about something he ends up falling over. He can roll both ways, but didnt start doing it consistently until just recently. So, every baby is different & I know he'll be running around the house before long. Then I'll be up chasing a baby all over the place. :)

My daughter didn't even start rolling over until she was 9 months old. At ten months she started crawling and within two weeks was cruising. She just turned one and still does not walk independently. It is perfectly normal for most babies not to crawl and walk until much later. To encourage my daughter to move around I go into another room with the door open so that I can see her and she can see me. After realizing that crying wasn't going to get her picked up she eventually learned to move in my direction with rolling and this all snowballed into cruising. Try putting all his toys just out of reach.

all bubs are different....some don't even crawl. Crawling isn't considered a milestone because of the fact that some babies skip this stage. My little girl started to crawl at 11 months and first started walking at 17 months...don't stress, he will get there eventually

My daughter did the same thing, she is just 8 months and started crawling a week ago, before that she didn't roll over, she didn't do anything apart from sit up by herself. I found by sitting her up and putting toys she likes on the other side of the room she would shuffle over to them and eventually lent forward and over a month learnt she could crawl!

every baby is different and will only do something when they are ready to do so. your son is only 7 months so there is no need to worry, also keep in mind some babies never crawl they go straight to walking. One thing i can tell you is enjoy every second he is not crawling b/c once he learns he'll be GO GO GO , my son doesnt stop he is all over the place 24/7 , i don't rest ever, enjoy it lol

My lil boy was 10 months b4 he started crawling and 14 months when he started walking! all babies are different dont worry:) it will happen or he will just take off walking and skip crawling?

Its normal for babies to develop at there own speed. My daughter showed no interest in crawling. She prefered to stand and ended up walking at 9 months. She only learned to crawl 3 days after her 1st birthday!
