Hi, my son will be 2 years old in a few days. He loves to eat paper and foam and as much as we tell him not to do it and fight to take those things out of his mouth, he keeps doing it.
He knows he is doing something wrong because as soon as we tell him NO, he hurries up and swallow it.
What can I do, could he be having a problem.

My son used to eat cardboard and those wooden kids puzzles. He grew out of it after he turned 2.

I would definitely talk to the doctor about this.. sometimes when people eat inedible things it's due to a nutrient imbalance somewhere. Could also just be silly toddler stuff, but better to get it checked out I think.
