My little girl, Hadley, is 2mo old and in the last couple of weeks she gets SUPER fussy at night - around 7p - 10p. I can change her, feed her, rock her, lay her down, put her in her swing etc etc... and nothing works! Does anyone else have this issue? Any suggestions to help with this?

The sound of the dishwasher is the only thing that immediately calms my daughter when she is like that - but the bouncing helps too - and staying calm.

I have the same issue with my month and a half old son... what I do is walk around and bounce him.... I walk room to room and it starts to calm him down because it gives him more to look at... hope that helps you!

Have you every heard or the "infant witching hour" ? google it...between 6pm- 12 am most infabts are cranky because their bodies don't know how to make the transition from daytime to night time...it's a phase she will grow out of it.

Night time IS fussy time for most babies. 8-midnight was when my husband and I took turns walking her and bouncing her. It was the only thing that calmed her!

Katy a few questions...
Does she still feed normally during this fussy time?
When you say "fussy" what exactly is she doing? Is she crying?
Have you tried gas drops and other remedies for wind just in case its that?
What is her napping like, what times and how long does she sleep for? (This sounds a bit like over-stimulation to me but need a bit more info first.)

We have been having the same issue. She's 10 wks and it started approx 3 wks ago. I now think she was/is overtired. She's now napping more and we're not having fussy time as much. I thought as she was getting older she was awake more but she just needed a little help getting her naps on. It didn't help that I had het out almost every day. Wwe're now getting better. Good luck!

I have the same problem with my 7 week old daughter. I think its just because shes over tired so I just try to get her to go to sleep which can be a chanenge when shes being so fussy.
