I`ve been on a few threads where there`s mention of using Vicks on babies...this is not recommended unless 2 years or older. Just wanted to make sure people are aware of this...http://www.cbc.ca/health/story/2009/01/1...

We used baby vicks from a month old on her chest as she was an early winter baby (got colds easily) and we also used adult vicks on her feet then wrapped on the socks, the colds never lasted 3 days with that.

You can buy a baby one which is much milder

Its not recommended and is way too potent for a young baby.  As a medicine interact assistant I advise people not to use it on babies under 2, but i'm so hyporcritical...DD has to have vicks on her chest whe n she has a cold, its the only thing that works, but I would never use it on a baby under 6 months of age.
