I have a 2 month old son and while doing my research on formula's I've stumbled across a lot about the high fructose corn syrup in the formula, also the type of DHA that is put in it and how it really hasn't been proven to be beneficial as it is nothing like the DHA found in breast milk & so forth...
First off I just want to clarify, yes I know breastfeeding is the best way for a baby but not all of us are blessed with a nice supply to suffice our babies and in turn have to resort to formula and with that comes complications - the spit up, gas, crying, constipation... I'm ready to say screw all these money hungry additive adding pharmaceutical formula companies. They aren't in this for the sake of my child, at least that's how I feel so my question is:
Does anyone use BABY'S ONLY ORGANIC FORMULA?
I know it says for TODDLERS, but that's because they are pushing for breastfeeding for the first year of life but in my case, that's not going to happen. So does anyone use this for their children under the age of 1? How has it benefited? Has it not?
Do you use any other type of organic formulas & can you tell a difference in your baby as far as spitting up & gas etc.?
Do you feel this whole organic thing is another marketing scheme and I should just continue my son on what he's on (Gerber Good Start)?
I'm a first time mom & want to do what's right for him so I'd just like some guidance from the other moms out there who know how hard it can be finding the right formula without feeling guilty for not being able to breastfeed :(
