i Had my son 10/2/09 and i have not had a period since 12/24/08. i often get worried and at random go and take a pregnancy test. they all come bck negative. i have cramps every now and again but no period. i am breastfeeding but not exclusively.so it should have been back right? has this happen to any one else?

i have breastfed as well as pumped. althought i have not pumped for long periods of time or anything i have not have a period since september of last year. i am also on an estrogen free birth control pill too. this may stop or may not stop my period depending on when i begin it. but if you are concerned that something is wrong you might want to check with your doctor to make sure.

no thats normal if you are still BF, some women won't start again until a few months after fully weaning.
i still haven't got mine back and my daughter is nearly 8 months, we still BF a fair bit and i get cramps to, im just enjoying it while it lasts lol (im the same with the tests too)

after 4 months of having my new son i have finally had a regular period. i just had weird discharge up untill now. it was so gross. it wasnt even like blood it was more of a brown/black color. i thought my body would never get back to normal but somehow it did

if you are breast feeding you probably will not get it back until you are done I did not get mine back until about 3 months after I finnished breast feeding
