Your Question
My son is 15 weeks old and I think Post Partum Depression is starting to affect me.?
I have been back to work a few days already but i've been having symptoms like continuous crying, lack of interest in any activities, low self esteem, mood swings and random thoughts of suicide... Can I go to my doctor and have him put me back on disability? I live in California...

I honestly don't know anything about getting disability for it, but I also suffered from post partum depression. I took medication for it starting at weeks post partum. I joined a support group that made a huge difference for me. My baby is now 16 months old and I am considering finding a psychiatrist to help me lower the dosage or get off of it completely, or even take something different if need be. The important thing is to take care of yourself and get the help you need to be the best person and mom you can be.
