I gained roughly 30 pounds during my pregnancy. After giving birth, I lost about 20 pounds in all. I was breastfeeding exclusively, and I was shedding pounds and slimming down even though my eating habits weren't the healthiest. I've never had healthy eating habits. During the first month or two, after giving birth, I was eating chocolate practically everyday, ate very big portions (I was very hungry too) and some of my meals were very rich.
Now here's the big problem: I stopped breastfeeding after about 2 months and I gained all the weight back. I'm being even more conscious than when I was breastfeeding, but I still gained all the weight back!
I'm not sure what to do now. I've never been the type to lose weight easily.
What have your experiences been with post-partum weight loss, and what did you do? Is there anything in your diet that you were able to replace by a healthier alternative?
