Potty training help?! Potty trained.... but not?

My son, when naked, is completely potty trained. As soon as I put clothes on him, he potties in them. We have been working on potty training for a little over a month now, and he does absolutely amazing, when he gets to run around naked. He usually doesn't tell us when he has to go, he just goes to his potty and does his business. If he poo's he does come and tell us afterwards, so we can clean his bottom. He does wear either a pull up or diaper at night time, but 9 days out of 10 it will be dry when he wakes up, only potties during the night if I give him something to drink too late. I am definitely at my wits end at what to do now, since he just potties in his clothes when he is wearing them. He is a very smart boy, can talk in complete sentences, etc. He started going on his own when he is naked, so I know he is ready. He will be 3 in December.
Has anyone else gone through this? What did you do?

If you are at home with him all day then it might be easier to try this; time him between #1s and #2s, regulate it and get into a routine. Have him sit on the potty every 15mins or when you expect he'd need to go then slowly extend the gaps. The clothes may be creating a distraction and they can forget. Soon you'll find yourself giving him 2 hour gaps and it will stick (fingers crossed).

Ps- every time you need to go, take him with you, they like to imitate us. This sounds gross but If you do a #2 show him and tell him that's where it goes, congratulate yourself and say what a great job you did for using the potty too (give yourself a sticker)
