Hi all
I am breastfeeding my 11 month old daughter and am 16 weeks pregnant and my breasts are super sensitive and sometimes my daughter wants to nurse non stop and it feels so painful even though she is latched on properly any advice would be helpful

It is called tandem nursing, when you are nursing 2 kids of different ages. It can be done safely and the uterine contractions that nursing causes should not by themselves start labor, so you should be fine. Unfortunately I have no personal experience but I read that the time when your breasts are really sensitive will pass. Good luck and congratulations :-)

I know they have that nipple cream stuff that you can buy to help your nipples but once you get closer to your due date you want to be careful with breast feeding because it can cause contractions (that is another reason why it is best to breast feed after having a baby so that ur uterus contracts and shrinks down to its normal size faster)
