when do you go from puree baby food onto mash baby food ? are there things to look out for so you know when baby is redy ? or is there an age that you swap them over ?

i changed from puree to mash at about 7 months and then as my son got teeth i made it more chunky for him so he would start to chew more

i am pretty sure i changed from puree to mash at about 7-8 months when they can chew it and handle it being abit more course and no when to swallow properly
