Baby acne! My son had the exact same thing. My doctor first advised we just use mild soaps and what not. At about 3 months he began getting cradle cap too. Let's just face it--he has sensitive skin just like his mom:) Oh, how I love what I pass on to my poor son. I found that aveeno(wash/shampoo) worked GREAT for the cradle cap and for the baby acne--------------of course! Cortizone!!! (the intensive healing formula) I use it at night and by morning his face is clear as day! I HOPE this helps for you because I remember my commenting in-laws and was completely annoyed. If only I found this solution earlier!

i freaked when my daughter got it
her pediatrician told me to use Dove Sensitive skin when i give her baths on the face and other broke out places
then use Aveeon Baby Daily Moisture lotion once a week

It could be baby acne or eczema. if there are white bumps it's probably acne cause from the hormones in your body when you were pregnant. My lil one had eczema and they kept telling me it was acne. I later found out that the eczema was cause by the allergic reaction to the formula. I'd ask the doctor

I agree about it being baby acne. My son is almost 4 weeks old and around 2 weeks he started getting little whiteheads on his forehead and they spread to his cheeks and chin. It's normal, and more common in boys and will go away on it's own. It also becomes more apparent if your baby is upset. So it will look worse if he is upset.

However, if you're concerned I would ask the doctor. That's what they are there for.

they are milk bumps a lot of babies get it, its baby ache its your homones that are in the babies body still they will go away..

sounds like acne to me, my daughter has it on her cheeks and chin. i did ask the doc cuz when she get mad they pop out more, she told me it was just ache and it will go away

sounds like heat rash... my daughter got it till she was 3 months old. One her face head and neck... It would appear at times and sometimes go away.. Maaybe have him looked at but im sure thats all it is... good luck!

I don't think it's an allergic reaction, because they come and go. Some of them look like acne, they have whiteheads. Thank you for all the posts!

Best thing to do is go to the doctor. My son had an allergic reaction and when I asked friends/family they said "oh its just eczema or baby acne" but it was an allergic reaction.

Sounds like baby acne to me. It's pretty common, my daughter had it too. It'll go away on its own, but the best idea is to only wash his face with a warm, wet washcloth - no body wash or lotions.

I am pretty sure it is just baby acne, my 2 month old son gets it too. It usually goes away on its own.

Wyatt my son had those as well, New babies "from what i have heard" get acne, it will clear with age.. at least my sons' did.. I would definatly bring it up to your doctor at the 2 month check up. also if you are using a lotion maybe not use it on his face for awhile and see if that helps.

The red bumps are baby acne, it is ok, there is nothing wrong with you baby. They will go away in a week or two. The best stuff to put on them is Aquaphor while they are sleeping so they do not rub their face and get in their eyes or mouth.. My son is 2 months and just got over them, but the do come and go..

It sounds like heat rash to me, but take him to doc just in case. If it is heat rash the doctor will just tell you to put hydrocortisone on it, which is OTC.
