Hi! Im in the hospital right now with my 6 week old son hes been in the hospital since thursday night with RSV and Bronchilits his oxygen is so low that he cant breath on his own any more well for right now It sucks i swear! If your son looks like hes breathing hard like you can see his ribs go to the er room thats bad because his oxygen might be low and he would need to be put on oxygen and nebulizers. I have one more day in the hospital with my son =) but he is going home with oxygen because his oxygen level is not around 95 and up I hope your son gets better! Oh if your doctor tells you to go home and treat him Buy a Humidifier so he could breath clean air instead of the yucky sickness air

My 4month old daughter caught it at 2months but the Dr said to give her meds every time she got a minor fever but if the fever got up to 102 to bring her in luckily it didn't. My 5month old sister caught it and she had to stay in the hospital for 2days and now she's on treatment.

My son just went through this. Its awful. My poor little man couldn't sleep, by the 4th day he was just so miserable there wasn't anything I could do to help him. It ended up causing a lung infection for him and of course a round of antibiotics. Things I did to help him were, vicks vaporizers where ever he was, allowing him to sleep on my chest, cleaning out his nose, warm baths, and of course tylenol/motrin for the aches and pains.
