My daughter is just a little over 3 months old. Yesterday I noticed she has a runny nose. She doesn't have a fever and doesn't seem to be cranky (until I clean her nose). Just Curious if I should take her to the doctor or wait to see if it goes away.

Ditto to what the other ladies have already said. Most runny noses do go away on their own. Instead of seeing the dr, maybe you can just call or email her dr. My daughter has had a runny nose off and on, and kids are bound to get sick. Just keep an eye on it. If she develops a throaty or deep cough or if the mucus changes from clear to green, I'd see the dr, as you want to rule out a possible ear infection. My 8.5 mos old daughter has had several runny noses already and 2 ear infections (because she's in day care where germs are rampant). With every ear infection, she hasn't had a fever and hasn't been cranky until the cold/runny nose had been going on for 1 week. But do whatever your gut tells you to do and whatever will make you feel better, as you're her mom. Hope she feels better soon!

Is is yellow or green? If not... if it's just clear then it is probably allergies. I wouldn't worry if it was clear. You can also try "Little Noses" it works as a saline spray or drops.

Christine is exactly right, also elevate her head while she sleeps to help her breathe better... there is a product called Hydrasence its a saline spray I find it to work wonders better then the saline drops

usually the doc will tell you to use saline solution and nasal aspiration. and if she is congetsed a cool mist humidifier. runny noses are a never ending battle with kids!! if you feel like something else may be wrong you can ALWAYS call the doc and ask if they think you should make an appt or if they have any advice :) good luck!
