Separation anxiety

Hi,
I'm the mother of 8 month old twin boys. My dilemma is that my husband booked a week long vacation for just the two of us and it is coming up quickly. The boys will be well looked after (my parents are going to look after them and the boys know them well), but the closer we get, the more I worry about leaving them behind. They will be 9 and a half months at the time and I'm really worried that the separation will be hard on them. My husband has been working really hard at work (and looking after babies when he's home) and says he absolutely needs this vacation. The trip wasn't cheap and it's non-refundable. I just hate leaving the boys. I've never been away from them for more than a day before and maybe it's crazy but I worry they might feel abandoned or something. Has anyone gone on holiday without a baby this age?

How hard! My daughter is 14 months, and I've only been away from her for one night (from 11 pm until 5 am), and that's because I was with my mom in the emergency room and she was with her dad the whole time. I don't think I could leave her overnight...

Anyway you can bring them with you?
