A cream called Mothers friend helped me.  I didn't get any stretch marks on my tummy at all just a few on my "love handles".  Whatever you do with summer coming up dont put them in the sun, no tanning, it makes them worse.  (I heard this on the Tyra show!)

I have heard a lot of people have success with bio oil, it aparently fades them fast.

u might like this product called Stretch Mark Serum, which is part of the Body Focus line from The Body Shop. i got stretch marks by the 6th month, and there are too many to count! while they don't erase them, they do lighten them up considerably. i am 5months post...and while they still suck, they aren't so dark anymore (yay!) also, spf your whole body...sun exposure BAD for those marks...

well thank you for the replys. sounds like there is not much hope but i have a really beautiful baby girl so it doesnt matter what scars i have now.  I just need to find a way to feel sexy again in front of my husband.

i also got some stretch marks, i always use baby oil in the shower followed by coco butter and mine have changed a lot. my mum says it should go in time. I just thank god i got a beautiful baby and if stretch marks are involved in having my baby it was worth it.  so my advise is just keep putting creams and oils on it, and try not to worry about them. im proud of every mark on my body from my pregnancy.

well i kno how ur feelin its like i can never wear a bikini to the beach again and it depresses me. but i can say after i had my son it took about a yr or so and they faded alot suprisingly. however they never go away totally and then i got pregnant with my second and they were not just on the bottom of my belly they were all over. i just had my little girl six weeks ago and i feel so disgusted when i see myself i am so self concious too with my bf i dont want him to even look at me. sorry its not much help but just kno that ur beautiful no matter what because it was all worth it u have a beautiful blessing u get to watch grow up and theres nothing better then that:-)

blame your mother as apparently stretch marks are hereditary. i have the same. my boob, inner thighs, hips and middle of stomach are covered in stretch marks. i used bio oil(vit E) throughout pregnancy and this did nothing. apparently there is nothing to prevent them and there is nothing but expencive laser treatments to get rid of them.my son is 4.5mths and my stretch marks have faded oh so very slightly. apparently they will fade in time to a silvery colour. sorry for the bad news. i figure its worth it when u look at ur precious bundle of joy!!!
