I had a c-section about 7 weeks ago. I recently got my period back, so I put in a tampon...thinking everything would be normal. It is so uncomfortable! No matter how far I put it in there I can still feel it! Is this normal? Will I be able to use tampons again? :(

I started using them towards the end of my first period ... a bit uncomfortable. I gave it another try during my second period and it was fine. I'm not sure why it felt uncomfortable for you, considering you had a C sect and all ... but maybe your muscles need to get used to using tampons again ... When you think about it, 9 months of not using a tampon maybe the reason it feels uncomfortable for you :)

I have had problems with tampons but it gets better. You might try a tampon that gets bigger instead of longer, I use tampax pearl. or ob.

When I had my first period after my daughter I to tried to use tampons. I had cramps that I thought I needed to go to the hospital. After the third or fourth, it got back to normal.
