we had the same problem. we call it her cheesy neck...we just started cleaning it well and putting powder on it. worked really well for us. good luck!

My son had it until he could hold his head up on his own. I called it double chin syndrome. My friend recommended Triple Paste. It's actually diaper rash paste, but it works great for any skin irritation. Make sure you dry in the crease really well and if he spits up, make sure you get it clean. Use the Triple Paste at night (and in the day if needed) - my son's oozing crease healed overnight.

My son is really chubby and he gets that every few weeks or so and I just put a little penaten on it and it's gone the next day. Any kind of zinc ointment would work.

definitely try to keep it as dry as you can. what i've found that works wonders on all sorts of rashes and owies is lansinoh for breastfeeding mothers...i first tried it on my son when he had a rash on his chin from drooling and it cleared up very quickly and is safe for them to ingest

My son who is also 3mos old, has the same problem it started when he too was a few weeks old...his neck is hidden under rolls of fat..LOL so what I tried is Baby Aveno. Its called Soothing Relief Moisture Cream. it's fragrance free and pediatrician recommended. I use it once to twice aday and it seems to be helping very well. but before you put it on make sure his neck it dry.

If it is like a diaper rash almost. Like oxygen just isn't getting to it. The best thing I have found is corn starch. Its what I us for diaper rashes too. It will be gone in a day

It maybe your babes soap. My son has sensitive skin and his doctor recommended Dove body wash and heavy eucerine cream. Check with you doctor because it maybe more serious then you may think.

hey make sure you are cleaning it good then make sure it is dry let it get some air to dry out when you are feeding him make sure nothing goes in their and try to keep it as dry as possible. I would recommend breast milk squirt some on there and let it air dry before so just hold him so the air can get to it then wipe it clean with warm water then let it dry again.
