The rise of allergies, asthmas, ADD...

I've been looking to green products for awhile and everything says that going green could reduce these symptoms in your children. I just wondered if there was anyone who uses green products or what your thoughts on this was?

I found an online web seminar, it's free, that might be useful if anyone else is looking into this. Just go to You'll have to get a password to get into the room but it might be useful to some of you.

They are just saying these things because they don;t know exactly where a child gets asthma or allergies or ADD. Most of it is heriditary and so, it doesnt matter if you're going green. I mean, maybe it could help but I don't think it will. They are saying that ADD is something that children get while still in the womb, and allergies - they supposidly come from what you feed your baby early on....

Thanks Sandy. The company I was looking into is sort of like Shaklee I think. But I am familiar with Shaklee. Thanks.

My oldes child, who is now 26 years old, had severe allergies/asthmas from infancy up until about age 11. He would end up in the hospital a couple of times each year. He had a breathinng machine...I forget the name now. Anyway, I took control and made some of my own changes. He had only small amounts of food allergies, so I didn't focus on that. I decieded to take out all cleaning products, including laundry products/chemical...from the home. Amazingly it worked right away. I switched to a product called Shaklee and to this very day I still use it. He still has some allergies, but nothing like the old days and he is not hospitalized because of it.

I hope this has been helpful.
