We have a Graco My ride 65. I don't have to adjust the straps too often, but like Jennifer said, the Graco brand seats are a bit of a pain in the butt to adjust the straps when they need to be raised a notch. I just recently had to raise them to the 3rd slot and it took me a good 20 minutes. Other than that, its a very padded and comfortable seat. We had to drive 1,000 miles when we moved from FL to PA back in August and my girl slept in it most of the way.

Sunshine kids radian xtsl is the BEST seat available in America.
The key features you need are the longest to stay rear facing, and the longest you can stay in a 5 point harness.
The radian can be rear facing until 45lbs
And in a 5 point harness until 80lbs and 53inches.
This is the absolute highest ratings available in USA, so thatswhy I am confident it is the best seat.
It's a plain fact that rear facing is safest no matter the age or size of the human, even adults are safer rear facing, we just can't do it reasonably!
So keep the seat rear facing until absolutely necessary to front face it, and then the 5 point harness is absolutely the safest possible, the seat belt is NoT nearly as safe as the harness and your kid is safest in the harness along as possible.
So for those safety reasons the sunshine kids radian xtsl is the best seat I have found, and the only one I recommend! I want everyones kids to be as safe as possible and this seat is the safest!

I HATE the one we've got. Safety1st AlphaOmega, I think it's called. My problem is with the sticky straps. You have to be superstrong in order to tighten the straps properly, and then something gives suddenly way and you've practically crushed your darling boy, and so you loosen them and start all over again. Blech.

We have the Evenflo Truimph 65. I love it!! The straps are easy to adjust because there is one knob to loosen and tighten it. You just push a little lever down, I can do it one handed. It's big enough that she can grow into it but also has these insert things to make it more snug if I want. Like the mom said before me the weight for rear facing if more than other seats which I loved because it's safer to keep them rear facing for as long as possible. My daughter hated her infant car seat but this one she doesn't mind sitting in at all! It's also easy to install both forward and backward facing. Also compared to other car seats it's a good price...

we have the graco comfortsport and i don't recommend it. the straps are a pain in the butt to adjust...you can loosen them from the front, but to tighten them you have to somehow get your hands all the way under the seat. as a result, my sons straps always have to be slightly looser than they should be in order for me to be able to get his arms through and this is terribly unsafe. (yes, we are in the process of getting a new seat)

my parents have the evenflo triumph 65 (i believe thats what its called)...i absolutely love, love, love this seat. the straps are amazingly simple to adjust (tighten and loosen) allowing for a perfect fit every single time. it rear faces to 40 pounds which is incredible because many convertible seats only go to 30 or 35 pounds rear facing, and children should be rear facing until they are at least 2, or until they hit the maximum rear facing weight limit on the seat. it forward faces to 65 pounds. my son is also a million times more comfortable in this seat compared to the seat we have in our own car.
