When I was pregnant with my daughter,I would sing "You are so beautiful" by Joe Cocker and Stevie Wonder's "Isnt she lovely" and I still sing it to her when I rock her to sleep :)

My son like the beetles they have good songs. or just kid songs i sing to him Hush little baby, little bunny foo foo. The ants go marching one by one hoora, the wheels on the bus, itsy bitsy spider. he loves once there was a snow man cuz he can do the movements. head shoulders knees and toes. I mostly sing kid songs Im not much of a singer and dont know the words to most music besides like kid songs for my son.

"Baby teeth" from Yo Gabagaba. It's something like "Baby teeth.. baby teeth. You have some baby teeth... fall out" Expect I change it to "Baby feet... baby feet... you got some tiny baby feet... and toes!" My 9 month old loves that little ditty... it's catchy.

I also sing The Little Mermaid song to her... "Part of that world". ... "bright young women sick of swimming ready to stand!"

My daughter loves when people sing to her. When 2 year old DS was a baby he never cared for it unless it involved hand clapping or actions of some sort. Now he hates when I sing. I know.. I have a terrible voice. He always yells over my singing "Stop Mama! STOP!" :(

We sing Summertime, Blackbird by the Beatles (great easy guitar piece), You Are My Sunshine, and my husband sings some Motown, It was Just My Imagination, Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch, etc.

My grandma sings 'jesus loves me' to my baby girl and it quiets her down instantly. She really just loves anything i sing to her, "sally the camel', 'bingo', 'itsy bitsy spider', 'five monkeys', 'the bear song', 'over the mountain', 'ants go marching', course she likes anything on the radio too. be careful what you play though, my husband always has metal music on and our 5 month old has started squeling at high pitch with the music and smiling the whole time, its cute but not so fun on my ears, especially since i don't particularly like the music and he's already turning her into a metal head

i usually just hum to the kids, but my husband sings amazing grace, oh canada (lol), other little songs he knows. my niece's dad would hum the indiana jones song to her it was funny but it worked for her

I LOVE Baby Mine! One of my girls' favorites is Sing Sweet Nightingale (Cinderella). The next one I plan to learn is Stay Awake from Mary Poppins.

It may sound strange but my almost 2 month old loves it when I sing "Jar of Hearts" to her. A friend of mine did a cover of it and posted it on YouTube. So, whenever she's fussy and sleepy, I go to YouTube turn it on and sing it to her. Calms her down and goes to sleep. (I learned that it calms her one day, when I was listening to it. She was crying and as soon as he started singing, she hushed.)

Also, for some reason (I think it's the beat because its awesome), "Lover, Lover" by Jerrod Niemann also helps calm her. Sometimes, she'll even do a little head bobbing to the song. It's so cute.

"Jesus Loves Me" settles my little boy down. Also i sing the prayer "Our Father".
they both seem to settle my son down, but it's probably just my voice (even though i'm not the best singer)

my 17 month old Kariah loves me singing songs even tho im not a great singer! l sing somewehre out there, or diana ross's when you tell me you love me, its a relief she doesnt know what a good singer should sound like!
