Just trying to pick the right formula. Currently she is on Enfamil A+ , but seems to have some stomoach trouble. She is gaining weight but I'm thinking of switching to Good Start with Omega's at the eight week mark next week.

My bby has a cows milk allergy, my pedia suggested to give her isomil, then switching to s26 lactose free, then we switch her to similac lactose free ..she has gas often,

Quoting Michelle:

I use similac alimentum. she was on similac sinsitive for lactose issues. but she was still getting sick.. this formula alimentum is amazing and she seems so much more happy.

We have to use the alimentum as well. My son has a mlk protien allergy and this is the only thing he can drink.

my little man is on Enfamil Nutramigen because he has issues with lactose and soy. This one is hypoallergenic, meaning they take out pretty much anything that any baby might have an allergy or sesitivity to.

I use similac, the regular. if you check the nutrition label, there is no difference between the similac and the similac advance with omega 3 and 6. But they both have digestease and it was the first one we tried and it never bothered our son so we kept him on it. It was actually recommended to us by the public health nurse in our town and it is the brand used in the hospital where our boy was born. Good luck finding a formula that agrees with your baby!

I supplement my breastfeeding with Similac Advance (with the blue lid) - they used it at the hospital... but I'm not gonna lie, we chose it mostly because Similac sent us free samples and our son seems to like it well enough. He's commonly gassy, but it doesn't seem to bother him - he's just burbly.

We use Similac Organic. I preferred an formula without lactose that wasn't soy. No gmo's, antibiotics or hormones. :)

i dont know any formula in the US so i would be no help , i use pediasure for weight gain but mine is almost 15 months as well, here they do have collic formulas and all different ones to suit the baby. not sure if they have it over there but i'd stay away from s26

I'm in the USA; I breastfeed but mix pumped milk with Similc Advance with Early Shield. The early shield formula is new and contains immune building prebiotics found in breastmilk. I use it because it is the closest product to breastmilk that I could find on the market. It even processes similar to breastmilk, which I can tell from her diapers.

In the US I use Nestle Good Start with cultures. My little one was having stomach problems with similac and even the prescription formula. After 2-3 bottles of this formula he seemed to get alot better, now I have no problems. It has natural cultures, such as the ones that are in yogurt, and partially broken down proteins to make it easier to digest. It is about $24 for a 24oz can of powder.

I use Similac Advnced Step 1 with omega 3 and 6. To be honest I used it bc my bbaby boy had to be supplemented on it in hospital bc he wouldnt breastfeed and his sugars were low, they gave us some to take home, and hes stayed on it. I figured if the hospital chose it and their best choice then its gotta be pretty good. Mind you fairly expensive, but i dont mind spending top dollar for my babys nutrition.

I used Enfamil A+ (closest to breast milk) and now that she is 9 months I have switched to Enfapro A+ with extra calcium for strong bones and teeth. I chose to feed her Enfamil because just before my daughter was born Nestle had a re-call for having killing some children with their formula. I don't trust the no-name brands because of this. I like Enfamil because she was allergic to milk and was on Enfamil Soy milk at the hospital and a little bit after being home and I guess it has helped her with her allergy because she is now on regular formula and does not throw up like the girl off of the excersist.

I'm in the US, and I use the generic Enfamil Gentlease for my DD. She had stomach troubles as a newborn (gas, fussiness, spitting up), so we switched to the gentle stuff. We still give it to her. The generic is just the same as the Enfamil. In fact, I have seen lately that some stores have a generic for the Good Start formula as well. But, i would talk to your Pediatrician before switching formula to see what they recommend.

BTW-Your baby is adorable! :)
