What is the best way to treat spit up? I cant do laundry everyday so I cant wash clothes right away.

with oxy clean do u have to wash right away or can it sit in the hamper for a few days??
Nope, I rarely get around to washing things as soon I spray them.
Something else I do with "bigger" stains, is fill up the bath (or sink) with warm water and let them soak. You can put a bit of oxyclean in or as mentined below, baby shampoo or i've heard fabric softener works too! After i'll hang them over the shower certain to dry.

make sure you soak the clothes in nappi san as soon as possible once baby has thrown up and then wash then later if you have to do that. mine throws up entire bottles and in the morning when i get her up her sheets, blanket, matress, clothes, hair and toys are soaked from her throwing up over night. i get everything rinsed down with hot water then chuck it all into soak then into the washing machine and when you wash them put some nappi san into the wash so it cleans the clothes better. alot of my daughters older baby clothes from when she was younger have permanent stains and i cant take her out in them anymore.
Also make sure the cot matress is elevated put a pillow under it and make sure where possible you keep your babies head and shoulders elevated during and for 20-30 minutes after feeding

I used meat tenderizer (unseasoned). Mix it with water until you get a paste and then rub it on the stained area. The Meat Tenderizer breaks down the protein in formula/breast milk and helps the stain not to set in. I've tried this and had really good luck! it also can sit for a couple of days before laundering so it helps not having to wash all of the time. Good luck!

napisan powder is fantastic to soak stuff in until you can wash it, i think as long as you keep the stain wet until you can treat then wash it should be ok.
also preen stain remover works well to, just spray on as you put your clothes in the machine, wait 1 min then start washing

Oxy Clean makes a BABY spray. You squirt it on the stain - spit up, poo, whatever the case may be - let it sit for 5 minutes and wash as usual. And it doesn't matter if the clothes have dried out and sat in the hamper for a week (I've had concrete onesies and they came out like new). It foams up a little - and it works GREAT to get blood and organic stains out of any clothing.
The powder makes your whites whiter with little to no bluing agents. OXY is a fantastic product! Totally love it!

chuck it all in a bucket with a lid....leave it to soak or if you don't have any water just leave it in there till you do.....in your situation there's not much else you can do, but if you get into the habit of leaving stuff in a bucket with water please please please also get into the habit of leaving the bucket up where your little one can't get to it...don't know about over there but here there have been many cases of bubs getting into nappy buckets, falling in head first and drowning...is just a horrible thing to happen. good luck...your bub is just gorgeous!!!

Ug, the spit up dilemma...don't you hate it? It is exhausting to do that much laundry and you feel like your baby isn't getting enough to eat. Have you talked to your doctor about it? My baby had reflux so we had to prop her up while she slept and hold her up for and hour after eating (exhausting). You can get this natural remedy called Gripe Water. It's used in Europe a lot for gas, colic, and other intestinal things. It has fennel and lavendar and other natural ingredients in it. I found it at Walgreens. Hope this helps and good luck!

I got myself a little bucket from the store (like you would use to wash the care or something like that. about big enough to fit like 2-3 gallons of water in it). I put a cap full of his laundry detergent mixed with cold water (bc cold is the best to use on stains) and I have it in his room next to his hamper. Anything that has a lot of spit up or anything with stains on it I will soak in the bucket for about a day and then ring it out and move it to the hamper, that way it is soaking with soap and by the time you do laundry (I do it about once a week) it is already pre-treated and the stains are gone and they are ready to just wash regular. If they are really bad stains, get yourself a stain spray, spray it, rub it in, then put it in the bucket with detergent and soak it for a day, then the stains will be gone when it is time to wash.
This made my life easier, bc my son has a sensitive stomach and he spits up a lot, so this kept me from having staining clothing and from not having to do laundry all the time.
Hope it helps. Good luck!!!
