You can feed her most everything you eat, so long as it is diced or smashed small enough. The only exceptions of course would be peanut products and honey. My daughter loved chicken. The meat is so tender and can be cut or shredded small enough for a baby to handle. I even chopped pieces of steak small enough for her to handle, if you get a tender cut, you can shred it with a fork and dice it up tiny. Bananas, peas, macoroni and cheese and baked sweet potatoes are another good choice. My daughter would feed herself these foods. There are little puffs that Gerber makes that melt in the baby's mouth.

My girl is 8 months and only today I discovered her first tooth. However, she has been eating people food for long time. I give her carrot, potato, cassava (you might not know this one). At first I puree them, after when she started chewing I startd small dice. Also I would give her mini carrots that she can bite on her own. She eats grapes with no seed and cut in halfs or quarters. Any fruit that is soft like banana, papaya, even avocado. She eats slices of tomato and cucumber. She eats soft bread and baby cookies (arrowroot or something like that) Once she tried the vegetables by themselves I started combining them into dishes and mixing them with some chicken and beef, low fat and low salt. The meat I mash with my fingers to make sure she can have it, caus she has no teeth, but you can probably cut it into small dice.

i started out with very soft fruit and veggies. i boiled the veggies till they were very tender and smashed everything. i know that boiling takes out the nutrients but my son got plenty from his other forms of food. u can also get canned veggies just make sure it says no salt and for fruit no added sugar. if your daughter has 4 teeth already im sure she will do just fine especially if she is picking food up on her own. just make sure everything is cut up or mashed really well.
