my son is 8 1/2 months old and still has no teeth. he is eating all baby food with gerber graduate snacks thru the day. i want to give him table food and i know he wants to eat it, he watches everything i put in my mouth. what can i give him to eat?

My daughter has 2 teeth but has been having table food including meat since 6.5 months when she had no teeth. you can basically give them anything as long as its not honey, nuts or shellfish. I never gave her a jar of food and she loves everything

my son has no teeth but we still give him a fair amount of table food, babies gum there food so they can still chew without teeth ... we give my son cut up fruits, cheese, bread, gerber puffs, cheerios,pasta. We make sure everything is cut up and easy to chew and we pay close attention while he eats, he likes to feed himself

ive given tyson rice and small SOFT bits of pasta.. as long as its soft enough for him to gum it :)

the only thing ive really given him is mashed potatoes. but what about pasta or rice?

If he's using his gums to mash the gerber graduate snacks, then you can give him anything that is soft and mushy. Just make sure his bites are big enough he can pick them up, but not so big that he runs the risk of choking while trying to gum them.

pretty much anything actually .. except for the obvious allergy foods that the reccomend waiting for ( such as peanut butter ) . Just blend it up a little bit if you have to to make it the right texture for him to handle. i have to pretty much do this to everything i eat becuase no matter how much you feed tyson beforehand he still whines for my food :)
