watermelon with my second, but also I was carrying 2-3 trimester during a very hot summer. Also, with both pregnancies i really liked the feel, smell and texture of sponges - the ones you use in bath/shower to clean oneself with!!! How weird is that... After giving birth that disappeared straight away!

Recently all i have wanted is ice too. I've only had a few weird ones the whole pregnancy and they were around the half way point. It was bananas dipped in cocacola and pepperoni pizza with chocolate syrup. The rest have pretty much been normal. Fresh fruits and veggies, cheese, and peanut butter.

I'm still pregnant and honestly, all i crave is fried cabbage.... pretty weird huh? For some odd enough reason nothing else hits the spot like cabbage... nor make me feel more sick after i eat it. lol

I'm alittle different. when I was prego I ate like a normal human being. My whole life I have eaten crazy combos and daring entrees. I was back to my normal the first week my baby was home

I normally HATE milk but now I can't get enough of it. I will even get up in the middle of the night and chug milk right out of the carton... it still grosses me out to think about it.

Quoting Elissa:
Ice, Ice and more ice. As Brittany commented earlier, It is related to an iron deficiency and I have had it will all 5pregnancies. I have broken/chipped numerous teeth cause I cant stop the crunching. needless to say my husband hates the crunching sound!! I used to buy a 5kg bag of ice from the bottle shop and eat it in a week. I would even get up in the middle of the night to eat ice.
I also (very strangely) used to like and "crave" my washing powder. I used to take deep inhalations of the stuff and think about it all the time. i broke the craving as soon as i ate some. but it was just the smell of it that i absolutely loved and i used to fantasise about eating it. VERY VERY strange - have never bought the washing powder since giving birth..
You Didnt have enough Iron.. When you goto the Dr.s they ask if you eat ot like to eat dirt, paint chips, and thngs like that.. It is cause you dont have any iron.. I did the same with my first kid too.. It was gain's Flower smelling one.. I dont remember the name off hand.. but it was discontinued a week after my son was born.. So i didnt have to worry anymore after that.. haha.. LOL

Fruit and Chicken did not matter what way. Then the last 2 months anything cold. one time I was watching a DQ commercial for the turkey sandwich and I got a craving for thick slices of cooked ham (like at Christmas time).

I want fresh fruit and lately anything really fatty and/or fried! I know its a little off topic but, my only weird aversions, were red onion and chicken breasts(even fried, but I did enjoy the thighs) .

My craving as well was ice. All the time. Constantly. And it ended up being because my iron was incredibly low and I actually had to start taking iron pills regularly.
