He is 11 weeks old...and seems hungry all of the time! He drinks between 4-6 ounces every 2 to 3 hours and sleeps about 6-7 hours at night? But, he could eat every 1 - 2 hours and I try not to feed him that often!

you shouldn't start solids untill around six months..his feeding scheduel sounds very normal to me for his age...also never put cereal in a bottle it is a huge choking hazard.

Putting cereal in the bottle wil not make babies sleep any longer! I had the same issues with my children...they prob just want to suck. Try a pacifier or swaddle them really tight and rock them.

If you do put rice cereal in the bottle you need to make the nipple a little bit bigger otherwise it will get stuck and he will not be able to eat it.

i would be trying to make him go 3hrly during the day and demand at night. feeding more frequently during the day is more like snack feeding and not proper feeds. if you give in to snack feeds he will always do snack feeds. you need a life too and sanity so you may need to just let him cry for a bit if demanding more frequently then 3hrs. does he use a dummy. this can help make him go the 3hrs between feeds. he should have no more than 8 feeds a day. if he is sleeping overnight really well it should be around 6-7 feeds. my son was the same. if he had it his way he would have feed every hr. i was very stubbon and he only got fed every 3hrs and he is now in a great routine. he feeds 3hrly during the day at 6,9,12,15,18,21 then he sleeps till 6am. you can put a small amount of rice cereal into his bottles. this can help him go longer between feeds. dont give solids until he is 6mths old as he wont have the right tounge movements until then. i hope this helps, good luck
