I was jst wondering if anyone got pregnant wit the mirena. I got it on my 6 wk post partum check up. My son is goin to b 7 mnths on the 1st. Ive been feeling sick to my stomach like wen i was pregnant. i Dnt want to b i want to at least start college and b in for 2 yrs. My son is a happy energetic baby i got more then enough.

i had a friend who got pregnant using it, but ive had mine for almost a year and havent got pregnant, but for awhile after i got mine i felt that way/

yes, its 99% effective, but that is only if it is placed perfectly. i have heard of cases of women becoming pregnant while on it but it is rare and i'd be willing to bet it happened because the placement was off. if you have been checking the strings monthly, like you are supposed to, most likely it is just your hormones fluctuating. even when on birth control, our bodies still have a natural ebb and flow to them, even if we aren't menstruating.

its 99% affective. n it is possible to get pregnant and yea alot of the time it can b ectopic. but it think it is all the hormones

i dont think you can get preg-o on that kus it says its "99.9%" that you cant and if you do than it will be ectopic sooo u should get that checked out thats not good if its ectopic you and your baby could die!!!!

i have the mirena and have thankfully not gotten pregnant and we havent been using anything else so i think you are ok...maybe it is just all the hormones in your body...lets hope so anyway cause that would be hard
