My husband is going to Korea in November and we just found out that Lakenheath RAF is going to be our follow on i am so excited! But alittle concerned also cause we have some health issues. I'm afraid that we wont get medically cleared. My little girl used to be on the autism spectrum but lost that diagnosis cause she has become so social she is still in PT and OT but will be getting out of them by mid summer also she has a IEP in school where she is diagnosed with a developmental delay and a mild speech issue, my little boy has some mild asthma and he will need to see a cardiologist when he is five just for a echocardigram, my other little girl is going to be seeing a ENT due to some mild hearing lose in both ears the doctor said it was because of some fluid also she has a speech delay , and my son also has a speech delay. I have seizures and am taking medication they are controlled i haven;t had one in over 8 months. Plus i have been on three antidepresents over the past five years but am off of them now and it has been at least one year. I am in therapy too because of having PTSD but am going to be geting discharged from it very soon. I was never diagnosed with clinical depression i was just taking the antidepresents for the stress and anxiety i was feeling due to my husband first deployment and my PTSD. Does anyone know our chances of getting cleared to go over there i know they can be pretty strict with who they let over and who they don't. We don't have to do our medical paperwork for another year so hopefully that will give us a better chance of being cleared. I appreciate everyones input! Thanks :)
