Welcome to Air Force Spouses with Kids. My name is Tiffany and my husband and I have two beautiful boys. We are currently stationed at RAF Mildenhall in England, and my husband is currently deployed in Qatar. This is our first time overseas, and we are enjoying the history and architecture of England. There are many villages here
0+that are quaint and beautiful. We are looking forward to some traveling when my husband gets home in February. We are planning on going to Germany, Italy, France (Disneyland ~ Paris), Ireland, and Scotland to name a few of our favorites. We really enjoyed London, and feel in love with a restaurant that we will be continually going back to every chance we get. This deployment has been the hardest so far being so far away from family, but taking it day by day and learning to lean on our friends for support.
I wanted to start this community for a number of reasons. First for a place for Air Force spouses to be able to come together, talk, encourage, uplift and support other Air Force spouses. Even though the military family deals with some of the same things, each branch of the military has there own unique experiences and bases that they go to and deal with. We each have different lingo, different benefits, and different rules that apply to the specific branch. Second, is for the deployed spouses to be able vent, ask questions, provide answers, and share encouraging stories to help others. The last reason, is for those with kids. When kids are involved, it's a whole different ball game when it comes to deployments and life in general. I encourage you to make friends and lean on each other for support, and I hope you like it here.
