New to Calgary, need things to do with my kids. My sons 3 yrs old and my daughter is 7 mths. I live on the NE side .. anyone know of things to do? HELP, before I go insane with boredom and my kids drive each other nuts!!

Welcome to Calgary!
There is Jump 'n Java in Marda Loop that is a coffee / play place as well as Sip'n Safari which is another coffee / juice play place in Canyon Meadows. Market Mall has a great play place. The Devonion Gardens downtown has a play area too. The zoo is open all year round and it too has a play place in the middle. There is also the Science Centre / Children's Museum which is very hands on for kids. During the summer, there is Butterfield Acres which is a "farm" in the city so kids can get hands on with farm animals. Village Square Leisure Centre in the NE is an excellent place to take kids swimming.
That's all I can think of off the top of my head. I hope that helps!

I live in the NE and one place I take my son is to the mall play area. lots of kids to interact with and lots of parents to talk to

Welcome to Calgary! Have you heard of Lets Play? Its in the southend of the city. Its an indoor playground and my kids and my dayhome kids love it . They can be loud and run and go down slide play in balls all that kinda stuff. Your 7 month old is free! Parents are free as well. and in the northwest of the city there is a place called Coffee and Scream another indoor play for kids and a coffee area for parents to sit and watch the kids. Also cardel place has great drop in stuff for your younger children and parents!

Welcome to Calgary. I used to live in Calgary but I now live in Cochrane. My kids are the same age as yours! Both boy and girl! I live pretty far from you. Have you looked into playgyms maybe, you find those in the phonebook or on line. I wish you luck. I run a dayhome so I am not really bored, just busy!!
