Diaper Bag

I actually just have an oversized purse... with Tinkerbell on the front... black with pink and it was $15 at Zellers. It's perfect for carrying everything, my sons diapers, wipes, recieving blankets, some toys, some snacks, my wallet, everything you can think of. It's about a foot and a half long and a foot and a half across. My friends joke that I have the "bottomless" purse, because it always LOOKS empty but I have everything in there. It's amazingly perfect - and easy to just take out the baby stuff and still have everything I need to go out.

I got a really great bag at Tuesday Morning as a gift, so I don't know what it cost. It is brown and green--trendy looking--and has a bottle bag, changing pad, and a little zipper purse with it. I also just use a big tote sometimes...works just as well!

I just graduated from my free Infamil diaper bag to a large messager style purse. I love it because it's a purse (get some on my style back), large, and has a long strap that can go across the chest. Great for carrying my son on one hip and not having to worry about bag coming off other shoulder/arm. Got it at Walmart for -like- $15.

Yes Melissa, I was looking for one under $50. I'll check out the ones you suggested. I would really like a backpack styled bag. It is hard to carry my baby around and have a big diaper bag swinging around and getting in my way. Lol.

Ok...so I am going to have to take a trip to Maine...I just went to Walmart.com to see if the bag that I love is there...and there are soooo many nice ones (at least they look nice!) and really inexpensive! There are also reviews (which is my favorite feature in a website...I don't buy anything without checking Toys R Us's reviews first!) so that might help you pick one.

Clarification: Are you looking for a diaper bag cheaper then $50? If so, I can't help you. I was going to tell you about the JuJube bags. I have one of them and LOVE it!! It can be worn as a shoulder bag, or bookbag (great for when you need your arms free). I wear it like book bag especially when I wearing my son. It is fantastic.

I have four or five of them and most of them I bought at Walmart...I think that they have some really stylish ones for like $20. My favorite one came from there and it just looks like a big black purse with shiny straps. It's from the George line and I think it was like $17 (in Canada).



I also have a Columbia one that I "splurged" on (it was like $40 at Toys R Us). At first I hated it- I wrote a bad review on the websites (oops!) but I'm getting used to it....but I did put my own strap on it because the one that came with it squeaked terribly! I just checked and it doesn't seem to be available at ToysRUs.com and it's now more expensive on the Canadian site...so nevermind that one! haha! I'll link it just FYI-

Definitely check regular purses...I have a tote that I bought at Gap like 10 years ago and it works really well- holds a lot but it's more wide than deep so you don't lose stuff forever in the bottom.



I hope you find something you love! I'm a bit of a purse freak so it was exciting for me to have a new excuse to buy a new bag (make that "bags"!)
