Hi my name is Stephanie Ward and I am a mother of an angel. My daughter had Angelman Syndrome, she was diagnosed when she was 14 months old. Having a family member, especially a child, with Angelman Syndrome can be difficult and lonely. I've started this community for parents and family members that know a special angel who need support, advise, friendship, and/or to know that you're not alone. A good family friend once told me "God doesn't trust his special angels to just anyone". Please Please contact me with questions, advise, or like I said, if you just need someone to talk to.

Thank you for replying. Its wonderful to have you in this group. Anything and everthing you need help with or support for I will try my best to help/support. I would like for this communty to not only be about dealing with angelmans with our kids/relatives but also our own personal feelings. It is my hope that members will feel comfortable in expressing any thoughts and/or feelings they may have. This is a family oriented community so please feel at home. I can't wait to get to know you and your angel.

Thank you for starting this group! I have a 21 month old angel, and it's so hard sometimes because it's so rare, and not many to talk to...
