Are you the type to keep your toes or nails painted? Do you only paint them for a special occasion or do you just not paint them at all? If they are painted now what color are they? Do your toes and nails have to match? Personally, I always have to have my toes painted and enjoy painting my nails from time to time. Recently I’ve been hooked on those Sally Hansen Salon Effect Nail Strips. For special occasions I do like my nails and toes to match but otherwise they don't have to. My toes are red right now and my nails are light pink when warm and bright pink when cold, some temperature changing polish I bought a while back. Ok your turn :)

I painted my nails this morning. They are a medium shiny purple. The color is actually an Avon color. My mom bought me 3 nail polishes for Easter.

September, I was going to buy a bottle of the crackle just to see what I thought of them, but they are $7, and I don't have the money for that right now. I might get myself a pedicure this week. I have to finish my work first.

I finally took my old nail polish off!!!!!!!!!! Hahaha... I'm going all natural for a while - can't handle to maintain it, so apparently I shouldn't be wearing it right now. I hate that cracked pealing nail look. Reminds me of a teenage girl for some reason lol

Amanda I have seen the crackle effect colors but have not tried them, but I want to! :) I plan to get a manicure and pedicure this weekend so maybe I'll give it a try then.

I LOVE to paint my nails! Before my son was born, I painted my nails EVERY WEEK! (I also worked outside of the home). Since he's been born and I've been a SAHM, I think I've painted them maybe 5 times in two years. However, I am trying to go back to painting them every week. Right now, I am not wearing a color because I took it off last night. I will (hopefully) paint my nails again tomorrow.
My toes and fingers are almost NEVER the same color; there are just too many colors available! I have seen the nail strips but haven't tried them. Have you seen the Crackle Effect color by Sally Hansen?

I was wondering about those strips too. I have seen them in the store, but its always a few days before payday so no extra money to spend on it lol

Mine on my fingers just finally came all the way off.. I guess that works since I couldn't find nail polish remover, so I bought it, still haven't done it..... nature did it its self? lol
Must fix toenails........

Hey how long do those new strips last? I saw them in a magazine

I do mine once in a while, right now nothing is on them the weather is making it just peel so I figure why bother.

Yeah I remember the chrome ones too in fact I have the pink and blue ones. I am going to give the crackle one a try next time I get a manicure, I'll let you know how that goes. Personally I like the yellow's and green's but I'm a yellow and green kind of gal. I'm Italian and have olive skin so they actually look nice on me.

Oh, forgot to add that I feel weird about lightish green nailpolishes, and yellows? They tend to look like fungus instead of 'edgy' lol

Yeah, neat concept but I think it would make me feel as if it's always worn and pealing lol I don't even want to try it.
My favorite is actually the silver "Chrome' nailpolishes that came out a few years ago? It really is pretty but doesn't last long is the only kicker. Bummer

Oh it was some cheap brand I bought a couple of years ago. Have you seen the new crackle one by OPI? I want to try it. I love OPI and am really digging the deep colors and bright colors right now too :)

Hmm...... I try but don't care enough. I usually make sure my toe nails are painted, because they look weird if not. I just don't see many pretty toe nails unpainted. Mine is a hot summer pink that I've needed to redo....... for the past month.. For me, fixing up my nails go in spurts. I'll get a kick to redo them weekly and then quit after a few weeks and just do toe nails every other week or so. Never gone to a salon to have them done - wayyyyyy to much maintinence for me. I like the color changing idea - who makes them?
I'm pretty fair skinned and blonde so pinks and some oranges are about my range. My favorites are the weird dark colors though. Deep purples, midnight blues, forest greens. Dunno why, but it's not the best look nor does it match much.
