My daughter is a little over 7months old and she recently has started fussing or crying for me when my relatives are holding her. I can't stand to see her cry for me like that and I automatically reach for her but all my family says that I'm spoiling her. I don't feel like that at all. I think that I'm making her feel secure when I get her when she wants me and I keep hearing different from my MIL and my husband. I'm a SAHM as well so she is used to being with me the most. What are your opinions on this?

I was the same way with my son. People got about 2 minutes, and if he was still reaching for me and fussing, I took him back. I found that the more I did that, the more likely he was to go back to that person for longer and longer stretches of time. If she knows you're always there for her, eventually she'll start trusting other people.
