Did I make a mistake??

My son had surgery at the beginning of January for his flat foot and pegion toes. I placed an implant into his ankle joint to left the ankle off of the floor. It looked wonderful. However, the implant has shifted and now he will have to have another surgery to correct it and while they are doing that they are going to fix the left foot as well. I am starting to wonder if I did the right thing in the first place to have the first surgery altogether.

I have no idea or experience with surgery or foot problems. I hope he's doing ok! You are doing your best. Those types of decisions are very hard to make and you can never be sure if you were right. Don't torture yourself. You decided and can't reverse that....so get on with it. :)
