What size bed is your 5 year old sleeping in?

I have a 7yr. And 5yr. Old and they have a bunkbed twin size! I think kids by age 4yrs. Old should be out of a toddler bed. Especially when every kid is different sizes.... some 5yr. Olds are really tall for their age!! And a toddler bed is the same size as a crib. Not very big at all!! I would definitely by a twin bed for your 5yr. Old!!

my 3 year old has a twin size bed . And my 5 year old is fixing to get a full size depending on what bed us and him decide to get . My boys are very tall so they grey out of toddler bed at 2.

We just put my son in twin bunk bed about 2 weeks ago. He just turned 6 today. So he was in toddler bed up till then. Bed kind of scares me he up so high..has desk under it, but he loves it :)

Hi Rebecca, my big girl is in a twin size bed also. She goes to sleep in it just fine, now if I can just get her to stay in her bed and not sneak into mine in the wee hours of the morning, we'll be all set! LOL! :)

My dauhter sleeps in a queen size but thats just because shes so tall, shes five and is about five foot tall already! I know its crazy

My son sleeps in a twin bed and has for about a year now.

you could safely pass that bed along to the 3 year old and put him in a twin with a bed rail if you feel he needs one. At least a twin wouldn't be outgrown. My 5 year old outgrew his toddler bed too, he was too long for it, probably is getting uncomfortable if he is complaining. I think you were wise to wait, but perhaps the time is right now.

My 5 year old daughter sleeps in a twin size bed. It was actually my twin size bed as a child and my mom kept in her garage so I passed it down to her. It is even her favorite color, pink.

My son is 5 yrs old and he is in a Regular Twin Size Bed mainly because his toddler bed was to long for the Toddler Bed. Hes 5 yrs old and 4 ft. tall.

no problem i know it can be hard i myself have 6 kids my youngest the 5 year old and he just got his own bed not that he hasnt had one before but when he left the crib around 1 and a half i got him toddler bed but he really didnt like sleeping in it always was in my bed between me and daddy at the time or big sis i even tried later the toddler bed but like a race car and still wouldnt sleep in it but now hes older and i insisted him to sleep in his own bed bcuz finally got all my kids their own bed instead of two to a twin size bed sharing so now they all have their OWN twin size bed and sheets set and hes happy i ended up getting two bunkbeds and put the 10 and 9 year olds on top and then the 8 and 5 on bottom and then i was gonna get a bunkbed for the girls 12 and 7 but it didnt work out that way and ended up getting separate beds for them due to no space for another bunkbed and they love it and having their own sheet sets a lot of money i know but it got them to use their own beds

Thanks again. Right at the moment my 5 and 3 are both in toddler beds with the crib mattresses and then our 9 month old is still in his crib with a crib matteress. My daughters mattress the covering is starting to show a wear she puts on it and my 5 year old has the new one because of the baby being born. All the advise helps me out because now we can get the 5 year old his twin bed and give my 3 year old the new mattress that will leave us enough time to move before she really out grows her toddler bed. my 5 year old sleeps in a twin size bed with his favorite sheet set buzz and woody !!! he loves it although ocasionally still tries to sneak in my bed or big sisters
