Your Child's 4th Birthday Selection

My son is on the 4th. Last year he wanted a dinosaur party. This year he wants a ROCKSTAR party. Lol! He has a couple friends in his class but not much family around so we'll just pass out some sunglasses and "rockish" tshirts at school.

BTW, how do you all feel about attending birthday parties of children you don't know? I thought about inviting his class to some sort of event but then I thought that since I don't really know the other parents, they probably wouldn't be interested in coming. Advice?

My daughter's 4th birthday party theme was Dora!!! Oh, how she LOVED Dora, but sadly, she is over her now--growing up I guess!. We attempted to have her party at a local park, but it was soooooo windy that day, that I'll never do that again.

Our 4th Birthday (oh so long ago....) was a Handy Manny Birthday. This year (5), our son wants a Toy Story/Buzz Lightyear birthday. Since it is his turn to have it at home this year, he will get a full Toy Story birthday...which he loves!

Our babygirl's birthday has come and gone already. April 6th. We had her birthday party the day before Easter at our local wildlife preserve/zoo. We live in Georgia & they have animals native to GA. Her theme she chose this year was Madagascar 2. She finally got the movie for her birthday after a long wait & I must say I have forced her to watch it more than she has forced me..lol. It is such a cute movie.



Her other themes have been 1-Care Bears, 2-Sesame Street & 3-Disney Princess. Can't wait to see what she chooses next year as she is voicing her opinions so much more with each passing year. Happy late birthday to your son!

lol my son was into thomas for awhile he still is abit but he is loving spider man. he can not get enough of the movies & cartoons.

joshua's birthday is the 13th and my daughters is the 21st(2003) so we have decided to put on a party on the 25th,its going to be a fancy dress with spider men theme plates and hannah montana for my girl.

so i'm still pretty sure we've decided to go in the backyard...our options

1.  not the weekend before the 8th because grandparents will be gone, and well, i can't plan that fast.

2.  easter weekend, half the family will be gone, but the other half we thought we could invite over for potluck easter celebration and Alex's birthday.

3.  the weekend after and we could celebrate Alex's birthday (april 8 turns 4) and my birthday (april 18 turns 25)

My daughter's birthday is the day before Easter this year. We'll be having a party for her friends the weekend prior so there isn't so much going on all in one weekend.
She wants a butterfly cake (again) so we're doing a spring-time theme with butterflies, bright colors and whatnot.

Awwwww....the backyardigans. That will be cute. My daughters birthday is april 5 (palm sunday) so we have similar issues with family and easter. All we did was take the family equation out and moved it to a different day so we are having 2 parties. One with friends and one with family. She is having a disney princess theme to her parties with the barbie cake that seems to be really popular this year.
