I signed my boys up for a vacation bible school at the local catholic church for this week. Today was the first day.
My older son, who's 11, did good and had fun.
My younger son, who's 4, is another story. During the opening skit and song in church, he did reasonably well. By the time my class, Kindergarten, met up with his class in church for music, it was another story. All he wanted to do is mess with everything and run around. When I picked him up for his teacher at the end of the day, she told me that he was so disruptive. The other kids wanted to play, but they sat down, listened, and did what they were told. Sean didn't... He didn't want to sit down and listen to the lesson or sit down to do his craft project. In fact, she said that he wouldn't look at them or answer them at all. The only time they got a response out of him is when they physically tried to guide him back to his chair. His other teacher even told me that the autistic boy in their class did better than Sean. They told me that if he isn't better behaved tomorrow, he won't be able to come back.
I need some opinions... Has anyone else had problems like this?
