I have come to realize that those mr. clean magic erasers take anything off...I would try that...

I have used goof off and that sometimes works, if not you will need to use a q-tip and paint thinner, then you have to re varnish the spot because it will remove the coating from the wood but you can get a small can , I have used clear nail polish in a pinch when it was in an inconspicuos spot, the paint thinner works better than regular nail polish remover and you need alot less but try the goof off first it is great and has even removed perminant marker from many serfices in my house- Good Luck Jennifer
