Most grocery stores carry this in the baby section: It's a Baby Eczema cream and a Body wash as well. My dd and nephew both used these. I even put some on dh last week when he broke out! It works great and is gentle being intended for newborn and up. The cream should be a in a white tube and the body wash in a green bottle. They have classic pooh characters on them, too. I'm sorry I don't remember the name right now.

hydrocourt in eurcerin cream, dr perscribed. our son, who is 9 now, has had it since birth. it took us until he was almost 6 before we found something that we could use that he wouldn't scream when we put it on him because all the other things we tried, even a different script had ingredients that would sting.

Well both of my daughter have eczema. Alexis is a yr old and she has had is since she was 4 months old. Joslyn has had it for about 6 months now and she will be 3 on April 19th. Alexis' eczema is worse than Joslyns. Lexi gets it every where and Joslyn had it on her hands and it is now only on the top of her back. I use things like Aveeno baby eczema cream and Baby Naturals eczema cream. They seem to work well for Joslyn, but Lexi uses that with a steroidal cream her pediatrician gave her. Also bathing every other day to every three days helps and using sensitive soap or no soap at all.

My daughter has eczema when she was about 3 months olds, all over her back, her neck and her face. It was very bad until its bleed her clothes and bedding. We went to specialist and the gave us some good advice, probably she had allergies as my hubby had asthma during his school days as results of inherited. I used aloe vera gel, 'aquares' (probably can't be found outside of Singapore) and Mustela Dermo Wash. These 3 are like my miracle helper as now she a healthy allergic free 33 months old girl after she went tru tests (they call skin's prick).

My 6 six year old has been nattling excema since she was 2. We have tried prescriptions, but the doctor keeps changing them each year because of the steroids in them. I have started buying Curel- Itch Defense. It is new and recommended by the National Excema Association. It has been awesome. My daughter's skin is so so smooth and you can't see the scaring from the years of scratching. I have even been using with the cold weather and it is thick and creamy and doesn't smell either. I would recommend you try this. I think it was $6 a bottle and worth every penny!!!!!

All of my kids have had problems with ezema:( For the most part I keep it under control by using ALL free and clear laundry soap. I use Aveeno lotion every night on my 2 and a half year old. I have used something called Aquaphor before which is like Vaseline but a lot thicker and I have also gotten prescription ointments with the best being a Kenalog ointment, in my opinion:)

Hi Crystal. I would have to say is to go to neals yard or any hearbal organic shops it is a bit expensive but their stuff works, as i have had the same problem with both of my daughter's suffering with eczema. and I found that vasaline was worst and some of the doctor's prescriptions did not work for them. I even went to the west indies and found that putting them in the sea would help with the itching and flaky skin was the best thing I had ever done for them, but when I got back to england I had to find other treatments before their skin flared up again, so I went to hearbalist and organic shops and their creams and bath ointments worked very well so give it a try.

My 6 moth old daughter has eczema resulting from a food allergy to dairy. Ive been to paediatritions and skin specialists and they told me to not use any soaps of any kind or colours in bath also not to use oatmeal baths because they may be allergic to wheat and that may be the cause of eczema. She had severe allergies and was put on antibiotics but as well as the medicated ointment I was told to lather thickly QV lotion (soap free, scent free similar to sorbelene cream) two to three times a day to rehydrate skin. She said I should use a tub a week which I couldn't quite do but it definately helped! Hope this helps and good luck!

My son was born with eczema also. We use a prescription cream which helps a lot, but to sooth the itching between applying the cream, and when he goes to bed, we use Curel Itch Defense lotion. It has the seal of the National Eczema Assosiation so you can trust it. We also use the Johnson's oatmeal baby wash.

my kids an oil for their bath it helps a little. i also have to use dye and fragrance free detergent on their clothes and a milder soap for the tub...their dermatologist said dove would be good and i have noticed a change. vasilne has been the best lotion for their skin (even though its not really lotion). they have told me to also put a 1/4 of c of bleach in a half a tub of water for their bath..idk if that works b/c i have not tried it yet.

We have had the best luck using a hypo allergenic product with tea tree, like california baby brand and unscented lotions, preferably organically based. Once we eliminated the chemicals and perfumes our babies skin cleared up pretty well. The key to comfort seems to be to moisturize often to prevent the itching.

My daughter has had eczema since she was about 12months old, she will be 3 at the end of april, I find what relieves her itching is Pinetarsol bath oil, and also use non soap products, hope this helps.
