I used to give my daughter a bath every day, but her skin and hair began to get really dry. So now she gets a bath every few days and her hair washed a couple of times a week. Her bottom gets cleaned in the shower once a day, since she's not yet potty-trained, and even the "gentle" baby wipes are hard on her skin.

Anyway, it just depends. If your children don't have any skin problems with bathing every day, and they like the baths, then it probably won't hurt anything.

But if the daily bathing is inconvenient for you, then you can give their diaper area a quick cleaning once a day, and a good bath a two or three times a week, or whenever they're truly dirty or stinky.

Myana has a bath every other day... and she gets her hair washed twice a week... to my defense my daughters mixed so her hair can not be washed daily....

my apr 07 lovely has at least 1 bath a day now and she loves the routine and will asked you when she thinks its time for her bath, she's not fully pottytrained so her pull-up is soiled in the morning, she'll then have a quick shower with me in the mornings .

I prefer to bathe my kids daily but in saying that, sometimes, it's very difficult to do. I found that baths helped relax them the younger they are and it provides a routine for them as they get older.

my April 07 baby gets a bath almost every night. He loves bath time! my 17 month old joins him. I gave them a bath every 3rd or 4th day at 3 months old. I never used soap on them since it dries out the skin. now I wash them with a milk hemp soap every day and shampoo their hair every otherday.

My daughter definately needs a bath to wind down! Bedtime goes so much easier when Macey has had her bath. I notice that she does tend to get really dry skin so we use Dove white soap and lots of moisturizer.

I bathe my daughter every night (wash her hair every other night) really helps her relax for bed.
