Our son wears a pull-up and he tells us where he is supposed to put his potty but never wants to do it. He even acts frightened when we talk about pooping in his potty! Once I took his poopy pull-up and dumped it in his potty to show him and I thought he was going to cry!!! Any advice???

this is what was done with all mine. it is very easy for them to sit and not as tall. and, insead of sliding off of the big seat, they just stand up from the one on the floor. i have had my first three go potty with me. when i go potty, they would go and sit down on their own potty! it helped them a lot too. hope this helps

what i have learned when potty training any child (i have four) is to allow them to do it themselves. all my children were above three, but not quite 4 (except this last one, she is getting potty trained by someone else, and she is two). they know when they want to be trained, and they will do it themselves. it is hard work, but, they know when they have had enough. good luck!
