My daughter is going to be 2 on thursday and I already started potty training but it doesn't seem to be working. All she wants to do is Go right in her diaper. Any potty training ideas or tricks?

I have potty trained 5 children and all of them have been ready at different stages in their development. A tell tale sign for me to know when they are ready is when they will not keep their diapers on. You can start by bringing her with you into the bathroom when you go, talk her through it, break it down what you are doing. Its not always pleasant to not have your privacy, but its a good way for them to get a grasp on the idea of using a potty. Remember, she will be like a little puppy at first, there will be accidents. Start a routine, certain times of the day she has to sit on the potty, even if she doesnt do anything. Start a time line on when you notice that she does her thing and put her on then. Keep a little bag of candies, or something she likes to reward her when she does go. Remember, it could take 6 months, it could take a year, being consistent is very important(i've made that mistake, if i get lazy they get lazy!) Good luck
