Hello! I'm Nicole, mother of one. My daughter's name is Rebecca. She was born April 20th at 11:03am by emergency c-section. She was 6lbs 5oz, 19 inc long. Such a peanut. Rebecca is now 18 months old! Can you believe that? Babies grow so quickly! I can't keep up with it! Every day she does something new and something different. I thank God every day for my daughter's health and smarts. She is so smart! I guess all mommies say that about their babies' though huh?

My little girl Tristan was also born on the 20th. How wonderful. I know time does fly. My oldest just turned 17.... now that time REALLY went fast.

I just signed Rebecca up for Daycare yesterday. I'm feeling torn. I went back to work when she was just two months old. I had a sitter who lived across the street from me and I work in the leasing office where I live so it was perfect right? WRONG. The girl who was watching Becca for me, turns out she has a boyfriend who was wanted in two states, not to mention the boyfriend worked with me in my office. So, I found another sitter who was a stay at home mom who I loved!!! She was perfect!!! She watched Becca since she was eight months old. Then about two months ago, her husband got a job transfer to Indiana. So there went that. I found another sitter who lives in my community. I actually leased the apartment to her so I knew a criminal backround check and all was done. Turns out she hates children and is really mean to one of the other girls she watches. I can't take it anymore. At this daycare which is HIGHLY repetiable has a online site. I can watch Rebecca all day long if I want online. So, she starts Tuesday. I'm really nervous. The stress of who is watching your baby is the toughest stress I ever gone through. But..what else can I do? I have to work. =-(

I love to hear everything their kids are doing... I think my daughter is pretty smart, although she is not yet saying her ABCs or 123s and she did NOT know what to do for Halloween, or I should say, she may have understood but didn't want to do it. She looked at me like I was crazy when I walked up to a stranger's house! She just wanted to take a walk around our neighborhood like we always do and leave the neighbors alone. She is in daycare 5 days a week, from 9:30-6:30p.m. (I WISH I could stay at home but there is no way). She did potty train herself already (although they have to stay in diapers at school) and uses two words together, and there aren't many words she can't or won't say. So I think she is still in the normal range.

This Halloween was by far the best! By the third door, Rebecca knew what to do to get some candy! She would walk up to the door watch me ring the door bell and she'd hold up her Abby Cadabby bucket. She even said Trick or Treat for most of the people. My daughter is just NOT shy! (Like her mama!)

My son was born on April 20th too! He was born at 10:55 AM.... so that's as close as you can get!! It hits me the most in the morning when I walk in his room and he's standing up and says "Hi Mommy!' It just seems like he was 6 pounds!!

DH and I will always say we're from Cleveland, OH-- right now though, we're living/working in Orlando, FL. I work PT as a radio news reporter, but I'm mostly a SAHM. :)

I had to take Amelia for her vaccines today :-( She did really well. I am happy to be done with that until kindergarten. I bet she is too. Amelia does that same thing with the phone. She even puts her shoulder up to hold the phone and walks around the house jabbering. I love it. She counts with me but our new things is to draw the abc's on the doodle board that say them together. I was curious as to where everyone was from and what you do. I am currently a stay at home mom from Missouri.

Hey, all-- I'm Monica, Jane's mommy. She popped out April 25th at 8:13 AM, 6lbs 12oz and 20.5 inches-- and now she's this towering 18m/o! Seriously. So huge! (29 pounds, a few inches shy of 3 feet tall, wearing 24mos-2T clothes. And no, I can't believe it.)

@ Tarra-- my girl is SO into counting! (Unh, teww, thee, fuh, FIE!) She just wants to know everything: colors, letters, shapes. The other day, her daddy took her shopping, and she pointed to the golden arches sign and said "EM! Mommy!"

The newest thing: she'll start a song ('woh, woh, woh'), then start dancing and doing motions while you sing it. (Row, row, row your boat...)

We tell her she better watch out for the cute police, because she's WAY over the limit.

I love the story about the one-way phone conversation. Ahh! Cute kids! :)

Hello, Im Tarra mother to Lavinia, Born April 17th, 07 @ 12:14 pm. She was 7lbs 13 oz and 21in. I really know what you mean about the whole smart thing. Have your daughters started counting and saying their ABC's? I dont know if shes doing this early or not. She loves to sing and dance. I love it when I turn around and she has her play phone up to her ear with a purse and some bracelets on just jabbering away making no sence, then abruptly saying bye and hanging up... Cutest thing ever!

I think that your right! My daughter, Amelia, was born April 30th, she was 8lbs 11oz ans 21 in. She amazes me everyday with what she does. I sometimes can't believe what she understands. Or when I am not paying attention and she'll mock what I'm doing, I love it!!
