We eat at 6 as well, bath it up, get jammies on and unwind until 7:30-8. My 3 year-old gets a book read to her in bed and then a goodnight kiss. My 1 year old gets told a story or sung a song before he goes into his crib.

i put my son to bed between 7-7pm... but he wakes between 4-4.30am... he stays up all day, doesnt nap and does it all again, if we put him to bed later, he is still up at 5....

The best bedtime routine for my kids is for them to have tea at about 6 then have a bath and ito pjs...come downstairs for 20 mins and then to bed with a book and then lightsout and hopefully sleep tight - hope that helps
