I have had another baby and its seems ok. my 22mth daughter was abit wreid when we bought the new baby home tho. but now she great with her, she knows who she and how to careful arund her. she does have issues when her dad holds the nreborn but she getting better each time

A. I am a single mom

B. He has some medical issues and has been on meds since he was born. he is such a handful that i dont think i could handle another one. and yes he is my only

Hello.

Husband and I have been discussing another baby for awhile now.

Just the fact that our son is almost 2 is the reason we keep siding seperatly.

we cant decide if hes too needy for our attention still, or if hes too lonely and we should add a sibling to the mix. Since we have just moved to a new city, and both husband and i are working seperate shifts we cant seem to find time for the baby groups we had accessible to us in our old city.

I've already had baby #2...our second baby came when Gavin was 19 months old...The second pregnancy was so rough because I couldn't sleep as much as the first one. It's hard having two babies that are at two totally different stages and who's needs are totally different. We prepared Gavin really well for having a sibling so thankfully he's been a help...even at such a young age. I think it's great having kids so close in age...it's very hard but, in the end it's worth it. I had a great first pregnancy as well as a great labor so that's probably why we didn't hesitate to have a second one so soon.

I had another baby in September 2009. They are 17 months apart. I LOVE it! It was a LOT of work at first...and still is, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Big sister loves her "sissy"

I saw this post come into my email "Another Baby?" and emphatically said NO WAY. LOL! In fact, we have had 2 babies since our April 2008 baby girl (through adoption) so we have 3 children under age 2 (girl, girl, boy)! I think we are definitely ready to sleep through the night! But, we are grateful for the children we have and glad they will grow up with siblings close in age. OH, we also have the older two, ages 3 & 5 (boy, girl). Whew!!!

i sadly had a miscarriage 4 months ago and was so excited to be pregnant as we had decided to try again and got pregnant first time, it really knocked me about loosing the baby but have tried again this month so hopefully fingers crossed. i think its time for my little girl to have a brother or sister now she is 21 months old.

i'm due monday!!!! really excited and scared at the same time. having a girl this time and i know my little man is going to be the best big brother. the only thing that bothers me is everyone keeps saying to my son " the new babies coming your not going to be the center of attention anymore." why would anyone say things that stupid. i think that my husband and i have more than enough love to go around. sure things are going to be different and take time getting used to but never bad. i'm excited for my son to have someone to play with. he's such a caring boy i know he's going to be my big helper. just venting a little. i let you know how things go when she gets here.

Yes, I am due March 12th with # 2. Hank was born 4/11/08 and now I have another almost here! I am not sure if my son really grasps the situation but we talk about the "baby" all the time. I guess we will see what happens when the new one comes home!

My April '08 baby welcomed his little sister on Halloween. It wasn't too bad at first, but now she is sleeping a lot less and he is getting a lot more demanding so things are a bit crazy. There are 18 months between them - it was a big surprise back in March when we found out we were expecting another. I wouldn't have planned it this way but it is fun having two.

Hi Amanda :) We just had baby boy #2 New Years Day! So far everything has been great with my April 2008 baby and this one! No jealously issues (yet) I personally think I made a good decision in having them close together, I don't think I will face much jealousy issues because of it. It is however definately busy! I always have something to do (or should be doing!) but I like it that way!

4 months pregnant and Kira is 22 months. Tried for years to fall pregnant with her so thought to start early with number 2 and thinking Kira would be potty trained out of nappies and sleeping through........ Yeah right......Well lets just say that i think having a break from no sleep and nappies and then starting all over again would probably be worse. I think the smaller the age gap the better. Many reasons.

I had my seond daughter in April of 08, and my third in October 09. Very busy, but just recently things have started to get a bit better now that the middle girl can really play with the oldest one. My newest daughter is the most mellow, happy baby, it is wonderful. I do count on my friends a lot for support though :)

Hey i have been begging my husband to let us start planning another, all he keep saying is wait till i graduate which will be in june. But thats to long for me i wanna get this baby here before decemember or new years. I wanted my kids two years apart not three. So maybe everything will work out, or im just gone have to make him reall weak. lol. just kidding

I already had another baby (no more for us!). My son was 15 months old when the new baby came, so now he's 22 months and the little one is 6 months.. It's hard, but I think they'll be close when they get older..

I just found out about a week ago that I'm pregnant with baby #2. My daughter was born April 24 08 so she'll be about 21/2 years apart from her sibling. This is my first pregnancy since a miscarriage in August 09. Hoping for better results....My sister in law is having a girl in June, and when I told my daughter, she said "I wanna a girl". So it should be a great age to add a playmate!

I already have another so that makes 3. Scarlett born 24th April 08 and then Oliver born 14th August 09. Thomas my first was born 25th July 06. So like is a little hectic, but gets easier every day. I say if you want another go for it!! Don't spend too much time over analysing it....I personally wanted them close as I am soon to be 37 and I don't want to spend the rest of my life parenting little children the joy is in seeing them grow up... this way they will also grow up as friends...Go for it! xx

We had another baby on August 6. I was worried about Ava and adjusting to Hannah but she has done wonderful with her! She loves to help out by getting her sissy toys and bottles. They are also starting to interact by talking and laughing so that has been fun to see!

Yes, I am now 10 weeks pregnant with baby #3 and final baby. Its due in August and this has been a very rough pregnancy so far. Sick alot more than I was with my first two. I also have a 3 year old and my April 08 baby will be 2 years old this year. Its been rough since I've been really sick and trying to take care of them. Hopefully I won't have any problems with jealousy with my second child.

We're thinking of having another...so that my son (April '08 baby) and the next child would be 3 years apart...We thought good for potty training. Two kids in diapers would NOT be fun! Also our son would want to be Mommy and Daddy's 'helper' (hopefully) with the next child.

We are thinking about it, but that's just it.... thinking. People are putting some pressure on us, but I really have no desire to be big a pregnant in the summer... I live in Texas and the heat and humidity is killer. I was so hot natured with Robert it was insane. So maybe in the spring or summer we'll start trying for #2.

I really badly want to have another baby. I'm worried though for several reasons. 1 my husband does not want to have another child he says 1 is always what he wanted. For the longest time i only wanted 1 too but now i have my daughter i want another child. 2 my pregnancy was so hard both because of my body and circumstances. I don't know what to do I try hard not to think about it my my sister in-law is having a boy.

I had a January 07 baby which was my 2nd then I had my April 08 baby and I've had my 4th in August 09. SO that's it for me. I had my 1st in 1999 then a big gap of 7 1/2 years but then 3 under 3. It's a killer. My last was a very bad experience having had an emergency c-section and then developing a staph infection from the hospital and being in there for a month afterwards with little babies at home was not great at all. If he had been my 1st baby I wouldn't have had anymore. It will be good later once the kids are older that they will be close but I wouldn't do it that way again if I had my time over. All the best hope all goes well.

My daughter will be 2 years old on April 1, 2010 and our next child will be born in the middle of this August. My husband and I knew we wanted more than one child and talked and talked about the best time to have the second one. We ultimately decided that there is no "perfect time" so we started trying at the end of the summer last year. By the time our second child arrives my daughter will be 2 years and 4-1/2 months old. We do have friends that had their first baby last May (2008) and have already had their second (unplanned) in December 2009. Our thoughts were that having 2 children that close wasn't for us. Also we decided that having our second child when our first child was 3-4 years old wouldn't be ideal for us, we have a neice that was a little over 3 years old and she was insanely jealous-which is what we definitely don't want. Whatever you decide, I wish you the best of luck and keep us posted! :)

We have been trying for about 7 months for our 2nd. Even thought it sometimes gets discouraging, we trust that God knows the plans he has for us and he has the perfect timing. We are currently loving our first (April 08) and the incredibly fun and busy stage he is in now.

I am 17 weeks and 4 days pregnant with my second baby! Hailee was bron in April of 08 and i try to talk the baby up as much as possible. I tell hailee to say hi to the baby and give the baby hugs and she rubs my belly and says hi baby! and she gives it kisses lol, it's too cute. But I moved out of my house the week before i found out i was pregnant and now im regretting it because my kids dad isn't really there to support me for the doctors appointments or anything.. he keeps trying to deny this baby and told me he resented me for it. Four months later (now) he's trying to make things work and get life and everything else together before June when this baby comes. It was definately a shocker we weren't trying but i wouldn't have it any other way... The closer in age they are the better off we will be when they are older... my brother and sister are 5 years apart and they drive each other nuts... I wasn't ready for another baby because I have a toddler thats a handful, but im happy and excited now... I find out in two weeks what this one is.
