Are your April 2008 babies potty trained???

ive been trying to get my son who will be 2 on the 2nd to go to the potty since he was 15 months old an he would still rather go on the floor or in his diaper but im not worried thought because ive read the best time to potty train is inbetween 2 an 3 years of age an your not doing anything wrong ,just try to put him on whenever you go

Jaydan is 23 months and is fully potty trained for 1 month now. She was able to tell me when she had to go and when she did it so I felt it was time. I used the 3 day potty training method(Love it)

Zoe isn't potty-trained yet! she does know when she sometimes lets me know when she's done wee's or poo's and even likes to take her nappy off and sit on potty. But she's only ever done 1 poo on potty and that was over a month ago....she prefers to do it in the comfort nature (lol, outside).

I sooooooo can't wait til she's fully P/TT...will save ALOT of money!!! I spend $60 on her butt a fortnight! lol

My daughter is practicing... she will go in the potty if I leave her pantless but if she has a diaper or panties on she goes in them, i think giving them the oppertunity to do what they want to is fine. if not then fine. I also reward her with a tic tac or an m&m if she goes in her potty, 2 if she poops. It seems to get her into it... I thin its a process for sure!

hi jeni i dont think you should worry, girls are faster then most boys.
my son born april 30th 08 is doing well.. i placed the potty in every room he was in when he was 16months and told him if he needed to use it to just sit on it and go, and left it at that.... (with nappy still on) and when he was used to sitting on it and knowing he needed to go we started taken nappy off and when he would really go we gave him a little party we would dance clap and laugh and just make a party over it he now gos happy and not a prob. you need to do it slowly and dont push it or they get scared and just wont.

My Mariclaire is child number 10 for us... she is potty training this week and doing great just a couple accidents. I have 5 girls and 5 boys. Definitely wait until they are not battling you but, interested. She is the latest girl as the other 4 were 19 - 21 months, but, none of the boys were potty trained before 2 3/4 and some over 3.

My oldest learned the potty in 2 days when she was 3 1/2years old.
Samantha decided she wanted to use the potty about a month ago. I stayed home for 1 week to help her learn to use the potty. The first couple of days I thought she wasn't ready, she just had accident after accident. One the third day, she went and had only 1 or 2 accidents. She now goes potty all the time. Everybody is shocked that I pottly trained her so early. But I say it wasn't me, she decided she wanted to use the potty and a little motivation from M&M worked. Now if I could get her to give up that yucky paci!
Just remeber all children are different and will learn the potty when they are ready. My nephew will be 4 next month and still won't poop on the potty.

My daughter started potty training at 21 months and was super excited about it... now, a month before turning 2, it's hit and miss... she doesn't really want to use the potty anymore. It drives my husband crazy, but I feel like we should NOT push her... every kid will potty train when they're ready. My stepson was 2 1/2 years old when we trained him, and he caught on and was trained within a week or two... so I think it's important to let them go at their own pace... you'll know when your son is ready ;)

My son was born on on the 14th of april 08, and he has peed and pooped on the toddler potty. BUT, I am not pushing it! My mom said that she tried to potty train my brother when he was around two, and it set him back alot. Also a girl I babysat for was still having accidents at 5 years, and her mom said that she thought it was because she potty trained her before she was ready...

I am happy to wait for when he is ready, and he tells me sometimes--- pottty, or poo poo--- but not all the time, and he doesn't understand the concept of "potty training" yet. He will get there! I say no worries!

my daughter has been potty trained for about two months now...but they all are ready at different times. kids are all different. my daughter just knew when she was wet and knew to tell us. they say when there diaper can be dry more than a couple hours they could be ready to potty train. don't let it bother you i know many kids that are almost four and just starting. hope this helps your concern
